Terms of use

The agreement between you and wesaw when you connect a shop. It is short because the product is small, and it says what happens rather than what we would like you to believe happens. The separate data processing agreement, linked in the footer, governs the personal data your shop sends us.

Who you are agreeing with

wesaw is operated by Avec trois e. Write to hello@getwesaw.com for anything in this document. You agree to these terms when you connect a shop to wesaw, and the version you agreed to is the one recorded against your account at that moment.

What wesaw does

It receives your shop's orders and the browsing that led to them, builds conversion events from both, and sends those events to the advertising platforms you have connected yourself. It then shows you, event by event, what it sent and what the platform answered. It is a pipeline and a record of that pipeline, and it is not an analytics product: it does not replace GA4, Plausible or Matomo, and it does not report on your traffic.

Your account and your shops

You are responsible for who you invite into your account and for what they do with it. A shop can be connected to one wesaw account at a time, which is enforced rather than promised: a second account claiming the same shop is refused. Disconnecting the app revokes the token we hold for your shop immediately.

What you must have the right to do

You confirm that you may lawfully send us the customer data your orders carry, and that you may have it transmitted to the advertising platforms you connect. wesaw records the consent state your storefront reports on every event and acts on an explicit refusal, but it is your storefront that collects consent and your responsibility that it is collected properly. We do not check that for you and we do not claim to.

Price

Nothing is charged to anyone today and no plan is open for sale. The published plans divide on the advertising budget wesaw watches, never on the number of events, and no capability is withheld from a smaller plan. If that changes you will be told before it applies to you, and for a Shopify shop any charge would go through Shopify's own billing.

What we do not promise

There is no uptime commitment and no support response time. There is one person behind this product, no alerting is configured, and a failure may be noticed by you before it is noticed by us. What the product does promise is narrower and it is kept: when a conversion is not delivered, it is recorded as not delivered rather than quietly dropped, and the record is yours to read.

What we will never do with your data

Sell it, share it with another merchant, use it to build a product that competes with you, or send it anywhere you have not connected yourself. Aggregate figures across merchants are not published and not sold. Your data leaves our systems in exactly two directions: to the advertising platforms you chose, and back to you.

Ending it

You can uninstall at any time, from your platform, without asking us. We can end the agreement if the account is used to send data you have no right to send, or to attack the service, and we will say which of the two. On either ending, what happens to your data is set out in the data processing agreement and in the data deletion page.

Liability

wesaw's liability to you is limited to what you have paid for the service over the previous twelve months, which today is nothing. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect loss, and nothing in this document limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited. This is the clause most worth reading twice before a plan is ever charged.

Law, and changes

French law applies, and the courts with jurisdiction are those of the processor's registered office. If these terms change, the new version carries its own date and your account records which version you agreed to; a change that affects what we do with personal data is notified before it takes effect, as the data processing agreement sets out.
