Shopify
Working
wesaw connects to Shopify as an app that reads orders and nothing else. When an order is recorded, wesaw reports it to your ad platforms from its own servers, using the details the order already contains rather than whatever survived in the shopper's browser.
What does the Shopify app have access to?
Read access to orders, and nothing more. It cannot edit products, prices, themes or customers, because those permissions are never requested. Shopify lists what an app can do before you install it, and that list is the complete answer.
Where does the conversion come from?
From Shopify's own record of the order, delivered to wesaw as a signed webhook whose signature is verified before anything is accepted. That is what makes it a server-side proof of the sale rather than a browser's claim that a sale happened.
Does it change the checkout?
No. Nothing is injected into the checkout and no theme file is edited, which also means there is nothing to reinstall when you change theme. Shopify's own checkout is not a place third-party scripts belong, and wesaw does not put one there.
