WooCommerce
Working
wesaw connects to WooCommerce through a plugin rather than an app. The plugin hands the completed order to wesaw from the shop's own server, and from there the pipeline is identical to Shopify's: the same reporting, the same deduplication, the same subdomain on your own domain.
How is WooCommerce different from Shopify here?
Only at the point where the sale is read. WooCommerce runs on your own hosting, so the order is handed over by a plugin rather than by a hosted app's webhook. Everything after that point is the same code, because the pipeline does not know which platform the sale came from.
Does the DNS step still apply?
Yes, and it is identical. Events are collected on a subdomain of your own domain in both cases, for the same reason: a request to your own domain is part of your site rather than a call to a shared vendor domain a blocker recognises.
Does it depend on my theme or page builder?
No. The sale is read from WooCommerce's own order record, not from anything rendered on the page, so a theme change or a page builder does not affect what gets reported.
